WWE the Good 'Ol Days: Part 2

Ah we have gone through a crazy time under President George Bush. We have been overwhelmed by incompetence, and watched our country and other nations get attacked by Islamic fundamentalists. However, even acts of terrorism cannot overcome political correctness in entertainment. Sure using a stereotype like The Iron Sheik can be offensive, but to the target audience of wresting fans it was pure gold. The evil Iranian vs. Sergeant Slaughter, a decorated war veteran, ah, what a treat for the fans! What amazes me more than anything is that people were shocked wrestling was fake in the 80's. How could you think these were legit characters and story lines? Maybe if they start really fighting in the ring, we can fight off terrorism in the squared circle once again.
